Er ist allerdings kleiner (ca. 1,30m) und weder Männchen noch Weibchen tragen Mähnen. Sein Fell ist sandfarben bis silbergrau und seine Ohren sind dunkel gefärbt. Ihr Schwanz ist halb so lang wie ihr Körper, was sie zu begabten Kletterern macht.&lt;br&gt;<br /> Der Berglöwe ist ein nachtaktives Tier und lauert seiner Beute bevorzugt von Felsvorsprüngen auf.
