Hutociatl wird auch die Salz Herrin genannt. Sie ist nur in der Gegend um Achimactan und Tzikinaha (Nahuatlan) bekannt, da sie das Geheimnis des Salzes gebracht hat. Als niedere Göttin wird sie dem Pantheon Nahuahauquihs zugeordnet.
